IMDB Marmaduke 3.1/10 Link
Man, let's be fair, a 3.1 out of 10 is horrible and this CHILDREN"S MOVIE is good for KIDS and not so good for adults, but you can certainly enjoy it with them. To put things in perspective, my 6 YEAR OLD son told me it is a 10! Me, it's a 5 plus, but I enjoyed watching the movie with my boy. Owen Wilson is the voice of Marmaduke, and there are many celebrity voices (Keiffer Sutherland, George Lopez, Sam Elliot, Emma Stone) for all the dogs and cats. I think the problem with this movie is the fact that the actual actors in the movie were a bunch of no-names, and not very good actors to top it off. Pretty bad actually, but I am not going to DOG IT entirely. It's not worth buying for Christmas or birthdays, maybe Halloween, it's not drastically horrible and it's arguably not worth the rent, BUT I will tell you that when it comes out in syndication, your kids will watch it over and over again, and you probably will too. A fair comparison, better than Garfield. So, don't buy it or rent it for yourself, but do it for...wait for it...wait for it...THE CHILDREN. It's a 5.0 out of 10.0.
