DVD REVIEWS: OLD DOGS STARRING TRAVOLTA AND WILLIAMS

IMDB REVIEW LINK

This movie got horrible reviews.  It's about an aging man becoming of father unexpectantly  at the age of like 60 or something.  They try to pass them both off as 50 but not the case.  Anyhow, he has two kids he didn't know about and Travolta his business partner is in the way.  I think people expected more from super stars, other than a decent family movie and that is possibly why it got bashed, but what do I know, I'm a family man.  In the beginning the acting seemed pretty bad, but things caught on and moved forward.   I actually laughed out loud at several scenes, but not as loud as my wife.  Even my five year old liked it.  I honestly can't remember the last time I even saw a movie that was clean and funny, but this one actually was.  Kudo's to whoever decided to do this.  Oh, it was Disney, the family movie king. Clap.  Clap.  Sadly, I am sure this won't pull enough coin to make more decent family movies in the future, star power or no.  For a comedy it a 7.0 out of 10.0 and for the family it's a 8.0 out of 10.  Rent it!
